Sarah Carlock, the mastermind behind the cheese block, has always loved both entertaining and feeding people, so she decided to combine her passions and create gorgeous and delectable boards of cheeses, salty snacks, local specialty goods, and fruit for parties, gatherings, or just simple snacking. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Texas, Sarah had some extra time to double down on grazing boards and began to package up Friday snack boxes for friends and family who would pick up their goodies from her front porch, and Amor Y Queso was born!

When the opportunity arose to bring her concept to an adorable storefront on Main Street, she couldn’t say no. Now, in addition to catering and creating grazing tables for large events, Sarah is creating snack alchemy for the masses in Deep Ellum.
