Business of the Week: Westlake Brewing Company

March 16, 2021 | Deep Ellum Team

Business is brewing at our #businessoftheweek! Westlake Brewing Company is Deep Ellum’s newest brewery, but enjoying a craft beverage here is as comfortable as being at home.

When dreaming up the idea for Westlake, Art Harvey decided that he was frustrated with the rampant one-upmanship of the craft brewing industry. So, from then on, that was Westlake Brewing Company’s goal, to bring refreshing simplicity and comfort to their corner of the Dallas brewing community. Don’t be mistaken though, Westlake loves to brew up something special and funky every once in a while to keep their regulars and new visitors on their toes!

In Westlake’s taproom, you can find a delicious lineup of beers on tap as well as four-packs and bottles to-go. If you want to try a little of everything, a flight of beer costs under $10 at Westlake so you can expand your palette, not break the bank. If you’re looking for something to wash down with your Hazy IPA or Blonde Ale, Westlake offers a wide variety of top-notch bar bites like flatbreads, brats, pretzels, nachos, and crudites.

Once you step foot in Westlake you are like family, so the brewery offers a variety of events and activities that everyone can enjoy together. Swing by for yoga, trivia, and social runs to enjoy with new friends and a cold beer!
